Publishing:

  1. As we monitor all the content on history-on-the-web your work may take up to 10 working days to publish, depending on the volume of work that we receive.  If for whatever reason we decide not to publish your work, we will notify you with the reason.
  2. You may choose between two payment schemes: Bonus and Royalty scheme, we advise using both as one will drive traffic to the other.
  3. The bonus scheme enables you as a publisher to publish your work on history-on-the-web for all users to see.  Your revenue will be generated via the advertising on the page that your work is published.  We want authors to generate as much as possible from their work, therefore, unlike other sites, history-on-the-web will increase the revenue as the site grows.
  4. Authors are encouraged to promote their work by driving traffic to their work and thereby generating more revenue and increasing their profile.
  5. The royalty scheme enables the author to sell their work through our site and receive a 50% royalty for all works sold.  Each piece of work is placed into the relevant category determined by the topic, format and word count.
